Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-07-30
Using this site means accepting these terms. They are short because the site's job is simple.
Estimates, not quotes
Every number on this site is a planning estimate built from published national cost studies — each one sourced, dated, and labeled on the methodology page. None of it is a quote, a bid, or a price commitment. Real costs depend on your soil, your county's rules, and your contractor's pricing, and only real bids reflect those. Where a figure is our own derivation or assumption rather than a sourced number, the page that shows it says so.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is engineering, legal, or health-department advice, and the repair-vs-replace helper in particular is an informational screening aid, not a professional assessment. Decisions about designing, permitting, repairing, or replacing a septic system belong with your local licensed professionals and your permitting authority.
Liability boundary
The site is provided as-is. We work hard to keep every figure tied to its source — that is the point of the site — but we cannot guarantee that any estimate matches what your project will cost, and we accept no liability for decisions made on these planning numbers alone. If a figure looks wrong, tell us via the contact page and we will check it against its source.
The content
The text, tables, and tools here are this site's own work. Quote them with attribution and a link. Automated bulk copying of the site's content is not permitted. How visitor data is handled is covered by the privacy policy.
