About this site

This site does one job: explain what published evidence and transparent arithmetic can say about septic costs. Andrew Flores is responsible for the research, calculations, source checks, and corrections. Andrew is a cost researcher, not a septic contractor or an engineer, and the site never pretends otherwise — when a question needs a licensed professional, the page says so and points you to one.

The editorial standard

Every dollar figure here traces to a published cost study — Angi, HomeAdvisor, HomeGuide, and their peers — with the source URL and the date we checked it listed on the methodology page. Numbers we computed ourselves are labeled derived, with the arithmetic shown. Numbers that have no source at all — a handful of adjustment factors — are labeled as our own assumptions, on the page that uses them, every time. If a figure cannot earn one of those three labels, it does not appear.

The calculators run entirely in your browser. There is no email gate, no sign-up, and no “request a quote” funnel — the complete estimate is on the page, and what you do with it is your business.

Who publishes it

This site is published by Nathan Management as part of a family of independent cost-calculator references. Each property covers its own subject with its own sources and calculations. Nathan Management is responsible for the published methodology, corrections, and editorial independence across the portfolio.

Corrections

If a figure here disagrees with its cited source, or a source has moved on from the number we quote, tell us through the contact page. Confirmed errors are corrected on the page and noted on the methodology page, which also states the review cadence for every table. The calculator is only as good as its worst constant, and we treat it that way.
