What to include in a correction

Please name the exact page and quote the sentence, table row, or calculator label you think needs review. Include the public source URL you checked, the date you checked it, and a short explanation of the mismatch. A primary source — an agency rule, current fee schedule, manufacturer document, or the cost study cited on the page — is more useful than an unsourced summary. We compare the report with the site's saved source record and update both the page and its methodology trail when the evidence supports a correction.

Questions we can and cannot answer

We can explain a formula, identify where a published figure came from, review a broken source link, or investigate an accessibility or factual problem on this site. We cannot inspect a property, diagnose a septic failure, interpret a local code for your project, recommend a contractor, or turn the calculator into a binding quote. Sewage backup, surfacing effluent, strong sewage odor, or an active alarm needs a qualified local septic professional or public-health authority, not an email answer from a calculator publisher.

Privacy and message handling

Send only the information needed to understand the site question. Do not send medical, financial, account, payment, or other sensitive records, and do not include private details about a tenant, buyer, contractor, or neighbor. Messages go to the monitored editorial inbox and are used to review and reply to the request; the privacy policy explains the contact-data boundary and deletion request route. A submitted message does not enroll you in marketing or create a quote request.
